Tonight Rocha gave us a gorgeous, deathly, lascivious send-off to remember.

The stage for this delightful presentation was set at the English National Ballet, where a spell of romance enveloped the room. Fresh pink roses peered out from beneath layers of tulle, crumpled rosettes adorned pristine white shirts complemented by ceremonial sashes, and dresses flaunted bell-shaped skirts that swirled with grace. Rocha herself explained, "The installation was my interpretation of the Little Ark of Kilbaha," referring to a mobile church in 19th-century Ireland where beachgoers congregated when the tide receded.
Sleeves were big and bouncy, as is the Rocha way. But they were anchored with a rougher sort of femininity.
Hemlines were often frayed. The doily shirts collapsed over waists. Shawls were made not of cloth, but interconnected webs diamonds and pearls. It was a splendid sort of misery.
Just like the veiled bunches of hay seen last season, long-stemmed, whole roses were tucked under sheer, tulle dresses and bunched at the chest and hips, accentuating the natural curves of the body. In a supersized moment, Rocha sent a model down the catwalk in a cropped sleeveless top made entirely of soft fabric roses , paired with satin black trousers featuring a coordinating bloom at the hip.
The designer joyfully acknowledged that her experience working with Moncler had helped to shape her understanding of some exquisitely delicate technical elements, such as crisscross nylon webbing on jacket arms and that bungee tank. The menswear items were intriguing on a number of levels, breaking the gendered wall and blending with the femininity.
